Ripley Group to invest 600 cr for mechanization of berth no 5 at Haldia Dock Complex

The consortium of Ripley &Co Stevedores and Handling Pvt Ltd and Bothra Shipping Services Pvt Ltd have quoted the highest revenue share for Mechanisation of Berth No 5 of Haldia Dock Complex, Syamaprasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata on PPP basis following DBFOT model. The consortium is expecting to get the letter of award from Syamaprasad Mookerjee Port this month for implementing the project. The Berth No 5 upon mechansation will have annual cargo handling capacity of 5 million tons. The consortium will invest more than Rs 600 crores in providing state of the art Mechanised facilities for handling dry bulk cargo comprising coal, limestone, manganese ore etc at Berth No 5. The project is likely to be commissioned by end of 2026.
